Robe Sports & Recreation Facility Master Plan

Master Planning

The Robe Sports & Recreation Facility Master Plan has been identified as a key project to ensure that the Robe Sport & Recreation Facility suitably caters to growing club membership numbers, revitalises and improves the existing outdated facilities, and provides opportunities for the broader community.

This report provides a clear direction and master plan for the Robe Sport & Recreation Facility to bring it to a future proof, sustainable, and modern day standard through the analysis of background research and literature, current sport and recreation trends, site analysis, and comprehensive key stakeholder consultations and workshops.

A series of high-level draft concept plans were developed by Architecture That! utilising information gathered through site analysis, current trends, club and user group consultation and the guiding principles.

An additional two final concept plans were developed utilising the feedback gathered through the draft consultation phase. The final concepts were presented to the key stakeholders and user groups with the purpose of selecting their preferred option.

This process has ensured the development of a highly considered and community driven preferred master plan that will cater to Robe’s local and district users and sporting clubs for future generations to come.
